Basics (Beginner) and All Levels
Classes designated as "Yoga Basics," are specific for the beginner and yet the perfect class for anyone looking to get back to basics. "Yoga Basics" is recommended as a place for all beginning students to begin their practice of yoga and is intended as a prerequisite before attending any "Mixed Level" classes. Classes designated as "All Levels" are open to all levels from beginner to advanced. There are no prerequisites for "All Levels" classes.
Yoga Basics: For Beginners and All Levels - Cultivating the foundation for your practice. Come and learn the basics of yoga; basic poses, basic alignment, breathing practices, moving with the breath, relaxation techniques and more. (Unless you've been practicing yoga already, this class gives you the basics for practicing yoga and is the prerequisite to all mixed level classes.)

Gentle Roots: All Levels - Calling all sore, stiff, older, younger, injured, tense and healthy bodies!! Calling ALL bodies of any level desiring relaxation pure and simple. We will concentrate on strengthening, lengthening and suppling the physical body and cultivating sensitivity and awareness at a more contemplative and allowing pace, all with a therapeutic edge. All are welcome. Come play!

Gentle Yoga: All Levels - A class for individuals with physical challenges focusing on balance. Chairs, belts, blocks and blankets assist the student to find integrity in each yoga pose. Both standing and floor poses are practiced as well as creative movement and brain gym. The class is designed to facilitate ease of movement and strength building for all who have some restrictions. Class begins with a brief meditation and culminates in Savasana enhancing a sense of harmony and well being.

Mixed Level Classes
Classes designated a "Mixed Level" are designed for students who have attended the Yoga Basics class or for students who have been practicing yoga prior to coming to the studio that have a basic understanding of breath and a basic understanding and ability in practicing basic poses, basic alignment and Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutation)
Easy Rise: Mixed Level - The Saturday morning 9:30 class. The perfect way to ease into your Saturday morning, guaranteed to infuse your Saturday with all the good stuff. This up-tempo, mixed level class combines all categories of poses with modifications, progressions and transitions including beginning inversions, backbends and arm balances.

Explore ... Body Works: Mixed Level - This class moves with a measured intensity exploring mind, body and spirit with equal parts knowledge and intuition. Focusing on intermediate level poses with an introduction to advanced level poses as an option, move more deeply into specifics of anatomy and alignment to bring more awareness of how the body works into your yoga practice. Learn to undo tension and develop strength and flexibility to last a lifetime.

Fun, Flow, Vinyasa: Mixed Level - Start you day and/or wrap up your week with this dynamic, up-tempo class. Movement and breath are linked together in a flowing practice that is punctuated with Surya Namaskar in a vinyasa style to revitalize and renew you. Both challenging and fun, this class is infused with a healthy dose of playfulness that's just right for the seriously playful student.

Gentle Flow: Mixed Level - A gentle yet powerful flow practice specifically designed for mixed levels. Combining all categories of poses with all the modifications, progressions and transitions that are sure to inspire and challenge you whether you've just had the basics or you've been practicing yoga for a long time.

Mix it Up: Mixed Level - A well-rounded Yoga class with something for everyone. Each week we will take a light focus on something new and different to learn, add interest and keep it fresh (i.e. poses using the wall, partner-play, prop-play, breath practices, etc - or make it a mixture). The class will begin with a brief centering and pranayama and end with a short meditation and/or savasana. This is a great all around class to let go of the day and release, revitalize and renew.

Move, Breathe and Glisten: Mixed Level - High energy practice. Designed to deepen and to explore, to challenge and restore body, mind and spirit. Combining all categories of poses, including modifications, transitions and remedial applications for inversions, arm balances and backbends.

We Love Mondays!: Mixed Level - End your first day back at work with a stress-reducing practice designed to relieve those Monday blues. A moderate flow class with lots of stretching, hip openers and more to release tension and increase flexibility. You'll leave with a lighter heart, a livelier spirit and greater energy for the rest of the week.

Advanced Level Classes
Classes designated as "Advanced Level" are specifically designed for students who have been practicing for a while and who are able to practice Urdhva Dhanurasana (backbend), and kick up into Urdhva Vrksasana (handstand - at the wall) with minimal or no support.
Move, Breathe and Sweat: Advanced Level - High Energy 1 hour, 45 minute Vinyasa Flow style practice combines all categories of poses specific for advanced level students (even if you're just beginning to move into an advanced level practice) that are looking to take their practice to the next level. This practice will certainly include inversions, arm balances, backbends, pranayama and more.

Rise and Shine!: Advanced Level - The Saturday morning 8:00 class. The perfect advanced level class sure to wake you up and leave you shimmering and shining for your Saturday. Combines all categories of poses including inversions, arm balances and backbends.

The Practice: Advanced Level - The perfect Sunday afternoon, long practice. This high energy 2 hour practice is designed to deepen and to explore, to challenge and restore; body, mind and spirit. Combining all categories of poses, including inversions, arm balances and backbends.
