A sacred oasis from the busyness of the everyday
●  Please arrive for class a few minutes early.  If you are running late, please enter the studio quietly.
●  Come to class clean and odor neutral (no heavy scents, perfumes or otherwise as some students are scent sensitive or allergic).
●  Come to class relatively empty. Try to refrain from eating 2 hours prior to class
●  Bring a sticky mat (yoga mat), towels/washcloths are optional.
●  Wear clothing that allows for freedom of movement and that will not come over your head or be too revealing when bending over.
●  Please leave your shoes and personal belongings outside of the studio in the space provided.
●  Please silence cell phones and pagers.
●  When entering the studio space, please speak quietly and unroll your mat gently.  This is your personal space; treat it kindly.  Honor other students’ mats by not walking on them.
●  Please return props (mats, blocks, straps, cushions and blankets) neatly and place them in their proper place; folding the blankets and placing them with the fringe facing toward the wall or the back of the shelving unit and rolling up borrowed mats neatly and replacing them neatly in their place is appreciated.  Also, please clean borrowed mats with cleaning wipes before you roll them up and return them.
●  Drink plenty of water BEFORE and AFTER class.  (No open containers in the studio please!)
●  It is very important to advise your instructor of any injuries or special health conditions so that she/he can best assist you in your practice.
●  Stay until the end, the final pose of Sivasana is one of the most beneficial poses for your central nervous system and your overall relaxation.
